    Eskişehir Academy of Economic and Commercial Sciences, founded in 1958, formed the basis of Anadolu University.     Kısa adıyla BAP (Bilimsel Araştırma Projeleri), yüksek öğretim kurumlarındaki bilimsel araştırmaların desteklenmesi amacıyla geliştirilmiş bir uygulamadır. Bu uygulama YÖK'ün 01.01.2002 tarihinden geçerli olmak üzere yürülüğe aldığı Yükseköğretim Kurumları Bilimsel Araştırma Projeleri Hakkında Yönetmelik uyarınca gerçekleştirilmektedir. Üniversitemizin tüm öğretim elemanları BAP Komisyonuna başvurarak bilimsel araştırmaları için kaynak alabilirler.

    At Anadolu University, social and cultural activities are as important as education and scientific research. The University frequently holds scientific events such as conferences, seminars, panels, congresses and symposia, and cultural activities such as exhibitions, stage performances and concerts. In addition to smaller conference halls in each unit, Atatürk Culture and Arts Center, Congress Center and Cinema Anadolu on Yunusemre Campus house many activities throughout the year.

# Field Qualifications
1 Have advanced theoretical and applied knowledge supported by textbooks containing up-to-date information in the field, application tools and other resources.
2 Have the knowledge to evaluate the nature, source, limits, accuracy, reliability and validity of the information.
3 Have the knowledge of accessing scientific knowledge in the field of health, monitoring, evaluating and applying current literature.
4 It defines and analyzes the problems in the field of health, and develops solutions by considering professional and ethical values based on evidence.
5 Uses information technologies related to health and research.
6 Using the advanced theoretical and practical knowledge gained in the field of health, it provides health education for the individual, family and society.
7 Produces solutions to the problems specific to the field in line with scientific data/evidence.
8 He conducts a study independently using his knowledge in the field of Nutrition and Dietetics. Plans and manages events, takes duties and responsibilities in the field of health individually and/or as a team member.
9 Evaluates their professional knowledge and skills with a critical approach, determines their needs, develops a positive attitude towards learning.
10 Identify and use ways to access information. Follows the professional scientific literature regularly. Adopts lifelong learning and is open to development.
11 Uses at least one foreign language and information technologies effectively.
12 He/she transfers his/her knowledge and thoughts on professional issues effectively and uses his/her decision making and problem solving skills.
13 He/she shares his/her thoughts on the issues related to his/her profession and solution suggestions regarding the problems with experts and non-experts by supporting them with quantitative and qualitative data.
14 With the awareness of social responsibility in the field of Nutrition and Dietetics, he takes part in projects and activities suitable for the society he lives in.
15 Accurately records professional activities.
16 Acting in accordance with social, scientific, cultural and ethical values in the stages of collecting, interpreting, applying and announcing the data related to the field of Nutrition and Dietetics, it becomes a role model for its colleagues and the society.
