    Eskişehir Academy of Economic and Commercial Sciences, founded in 1958, formed the basis of Anadolu University. The Academy was replaced by Anadolu University in 1982, which has gained a well-deserved place as a modern, dynamic and innovative institution among the largest universities not only in Türkiye, but also in the world.

    Kısa adıyla BAP (Bilimsel Araştırma Projeleri), yüksek öğretim kurumlarındaki bilimsel araştırmaların desteklenmesi amacıyla geliştirilmiş bir uygulamadır. Bu uygulama YÖK'ün 01.01.2002 tarihinden geçerli olmak üzere yürülüğe aldığı Yükseköğretim Kurumları Bilimsel Araştırma Projeleri Hakkında Yönetmelik uyarınca gerçekleştirilmektedir. Üniversitemizin tüm öğretim elemanları BAP Komisyonuna başvurarak bilimsel araştırmaları için kaynak alabilirler.

    At Anadolu University, social and cultural activities are as important as education and scientific research. The University frequently holds scientific events such as conferences, seminars, panels, congresses and symposia, and cultural activities such as exhibitions, stage performances and concerts. In addition to smaller conference halls in each unit, Atatürk Culture and Arts Center, Congress Center and Cinema Anadolu on Yunusemre Campus house many activities throughout the year.

  • The student will be able to interpret the relationship of environment to society and literature.
  • The student discusses different definitions of the concepts of the environment, society and literature.
  • The student explains how literature affects society end the environment.
  • The student explains how sociological and ecological concerns find place in literature.
  • The student will be able to analyze literary texts from an ecocritical perspective.
  • The student defines ecocriticism.
  • The student analyzes literary texts, using ecocritical approaches.
  • The student will be able to interpret the relationship between the climate crisis, human/society and literature.
  • The student exemplifies how the climate crisis is represented in the Turkish and world literature.
  • The student provides examples of the literary representation of the relationship between the Anthropocene and the climate crisis.
  • The student will be able to examine the literary representation of concepts such as gender, urbanization and ecological citizenship, which are of both sociological and ecological importance.
  • The student identifies key themes related to gender, urbanization, and ecological citizenship in various literary works.
  • The student discusses the perspectives of authors on the interconnectedness of sociological and ecological issues through their literary works.
  • The student relates their literary analysis to contemporary sociological and ecological issues, focusing on the relevance of literature to current social challenges.
  • The student will be able to carry out interdisciplinary research, integrating insights from sociology, ecology, and literary studies to deepen their understanding of the examined concepts.
