Explain the developmental period of Ankara from the anouncement of Ankara as the new capital city upto present time 1.3.Define the Republican Period architectural styles and artists in terms of the relationship between ideology and arhitecure
2. Will explain the basic features of Ankara’s architecture as the developing capital city in Republican period 2.1. Explain the similarities and differences of 1930-40’s and 1940-50’s Architectural Period, First National Architectural Period, Second National Architecture Period, , New Architectural Period with significant examples. 2.2. Distinguish the examples of architectural works according to eras 2.3.Describe various types of architectural works, architects and decorations by their architectural periods
3.Will evaluate the capital city architecture of the Republican Period in terms of political, social, religious, economic and artistic relevance 3.1. Question the influence of socio-cultural structure on the artists and buildings 3.2.Discuss the political, social, religious, economic and artistic conditions of the related period with an understanding of various types of architectural works and their characteristics.
