    Eskişehir Academy of Economic and Commercial Sciences, founded in 1958, formed the basis of Anadolu University. The Academy was replaced by Anadolu University in 1982, which has gained a well-deserved place as a modern, dynamic and innovative institution among the largest universities not only in Türkiye, but also in the world.

    Kısa adıyla BAP (Bilimsel Araştırma Projeleri), yüksek öğretim kurumlarındaki bilimsel araştırmaların desteklenmesi amacıyla geliştirilmiş bir uygulamadır. Bu uygulama YÖK'ün 01.01.2002 tarihinden geçerli olmak üzere yürülüğe aldığı Yükseköğretim Kurumları Bilimsel Araştırma Projeleri Hakkında Yönetmelik uyarınca gerçekleştirilmektedir. Üniversitemizin tüm öğretim elemanları BAP Komisyonuna başvurarak bilimsel araştırmaları için kaynak alabilirler.

    At Anadolu University, social and cultural activities are as important as education and scientific research. The University frequently holds scientific events such as conferences, seminars, panels, congresses and symposia, and cultural activities such as exhibitions, stage performances and concerts. In addition to smaller conference halls in each unit, Atatürk Culture and Arts Center, Congress Center and Cinema Anadolu on Yunusemre Campus house many activities throughout the year.

# Field Qualifications
1 Possess advance level of basic theoretical knowledge to consider with reflections on practice in the field.
2 Perceive the interaction between the disciplines related to the field.
3 To understand basic theoretical knowledge in behavior and social sciences and to possess relation between knowledge.
4  Possess basic knowledge implementation in relation between people and societies  
5 Possess basic knowledge on results and reasons with transformations of societies living
6 Possess knowledge of Research and Planning in Social and Behavioral Sciences and ability of practice.
7 Possess required knowledge in level of practical and theoretical to obtain data process in advance level.         
8 Possess analyses of theoretical knowledge   and data evaluate   with reflections on practice in the field.
9 Possess the theories related to the social and behavioral sciences and knowledge of preparing reports in professional life and of creating academic works. 
10 Possess making decision, implementing the decision and using knowledge related to the field. 
11 Possess the ability of transferring the data related to the field with the theoretical and practical principles to the concerned people.
12 Interpret the knowledge related to the field and sub fields and the fields of other social science with making interdisciplinary relation and reveal new information
13 Make original, written and oral presentations in the national and international conferences in the field.
14 Determine the problems on issues in the field and develop solution proposals by the support of research methods.
15 Develop solutions both as a team member and individually on issues in the field
16 Take responsibility both as a team member and individually in order to solve unexpected complex problems faced within the implementations in the field
17 Intend and conduct any kind of project and goals on issues in the field.
18 Take responsibility of the leadership if necessary in the process of team work.
19 Determine the vision, goal and purpose related to the field.
20 Extend the limits of knowledge in the field by preparing and publishing at least one article on the issues in the field individually or as a team work
21 Evaluate the knowledge and skills acquired in the field with a critical approach.
22 Determine learning and practical needs related with the field.
23 Develop positive attitude towards lifelong learning.
24 Evaluate the basic knowledge and skills with a contributive, interrogative and productive approach and determine and fulfill the requirements. 
25 Follow the national and international publishing related to the field.
26 Conduct the education to the next level in the same field or to another field in the same level to make contributions.
27 Possess the awareness of lifelong learning.      
28 Transfer knowledge and experiences to the people in written and orally on issues in the field.
29 Share the ideas and solution proposals to problems on issues in the field with professionals by the support of scientific data.
30 Possess the ability of sharing the data, co-working, evaluating the critics and incorporating in academic work environment.
31 Organize and implement project and activities for social environment with a sense of social responsibility.
32 Reveal the specialty of theoretical and cognitive richness in the professional career.
33 Analyze the social relations and the norms conducting them with a critical approach, develop and act to change if necessary.
34 Monitor the developments in the field and communicate with peers by using a foreign language at least at a level of European Language Portfolio B2 General Level.
35 Use informatics and communication technologies with the software knowledge at the required level by the field.      
36 Act in accordance with social, scientific, cultural and ethic values on the stages of gathering, implementation and release of the results of data related to the field.
37 Possess the predictions.
38 Posses a knowledge of universality of social justice and cultural elements.
39 Possess an open to innovation manner.
40 Develop the opinions regarding the social and behavioral facts using the database and methods in the field and possess the ability of interpreting the events. 
41 Use the knowledge solve the problems    and/or the abilities to perform related to the field in  the interdisciplinary studies at the national or international level.
